Keisha

Veterinary Assistant

Keisha graduated with honours from the Veterinary Assistant program at Eastern College in 2022 and has been growing her skills in veterinary medicine ever since. She has a deep love for animals of all kinds—from scales to fur—and feels grateful to work in a field where she can help them every day.

Keisha is especially passionate about client education and nutrition. She holds 12 nutrition certifications through Hill’s Pet Nutrition and enjoys helping pet owners better understand their pets’ health, diet, and overall well-being so they can provide the best possible care at home.

Outside of the clinic, Keisha fosters cats through Saving Paws Cat Rescue, helping cats in need find safe and loving homes. Her own home is full of animals, including Spot, her energetic blue merle Border Collie, and two cats, Reme and Cotton, who was originally a foster but quickly became a permanent member of the family. Her small zoo also includes a ball python, a leopard gecko, and a hamster.

When she’s not working, Keisha enjoys spending time training Spot and is looking forward to starting agility and scent work together.
