With a lifelong passion for animal care, Alicia Laurin began gaining experience long before starting her veterinary career, volunteering with shelters, veterinary clinics, and animal fundraising events. She graduated from Ashworth College with a Veterinary Assistant diploma in 2021 and has since worked across small animal practice and integrative veterinary care.
While working at Willow Grove, Alicia developed a passion for supporting sensitive, fearful, and vulnerable animals. Her gentle approach to patient care led her to become Fear Free certified in 2023. She continued her education in 2024, completing her Canine Hydrotherapy certification with honours.
Alicia is excited to bring her experience and compassion to our team while continuing to learn and grow in urgent care. When she’s not working, she enjoys exploring canine behaviour with Jasper, her Border Collie, and relaxing with her rescue cat, Rolo.
