Dr. Jane Charbonneau is a veterinarian with more than 30 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery, including emergency care. She joined the Galaxy Vets team in April 2026 and brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and clinical experience to the hospital.
Throughout her career, Dr. Charbonneau has worked in a variety of settings, including general practice, emergency medicine, teaching, and relief work. Her broad experience has shaped her thoughtful, collaborative approach to veterinary care and reinforced her belief in lifelong learning.
Jane is passionate about providing the highest level of care for her patients while making sure pet owners feel informed, supported, and heard. She also values supporting and mentoring her fellow veterinary team members, helping create a positive and compassionate environment within the clinic.
Outside of work, Jane enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Hope. She also loves hiking, reading, and continuing to grow as an artist.
